Anywhere else to buy catalyzed o2 spacers ?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Long story short, I ordered one from RocEuro and I have no idea if it's ever coming. Their comunication sucks and they only ever seem to reply if I keep hounding them, which is getting really annoying. I was told they will be shipping it after its restocked ( which I was notified it is ) and now I can't get a confirmation from them with shipping info.

Everywhere else I've looked for an o2 spacer with a catalyst in it seems to be discontinued .

Any help would be great as I have a CEL from my current set up and it's annoying looking at that light all the time lol.

+1 for Roc Euro, have had mine for almost a year now, i think my original cat is going bad and i've had CELs then, but none since i installed this. i looked up alot of reviews and alternatives and the Roc Euro one was the only one i saw with no negative reviews, all the others had a some people saying it didnt work for them so i didnt wanna risk it. but the Roc Euro one may be worth the wait.

I hear good things about the 42 draft designs 45* spacer, but I usually only like to speak from personal experiance.

    which version do you have?

I ordered the 90 degree spacer just to be safe.

right now I have a vibrant J style spacer with the little air flow inserts that come in different sizes. It worked briefly.

I used a Rock Euro catalyst spacer as well as. A 45 degree Big Daddy Diesel spacer and would still get a code every now and again. 2 catalyst spacers and still a random code. Going K04 solved my code issues.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to go at least stage 2 right now and solve the problem for good but I spent a ton of money on parts lately.

That's also not very promising after hearing you still got a code after a catalized spacer and doubling it up.

I only got the code after very spirited driving. Not sure if the B8.5 E85 motor is more sensitive to exhaust gases or not.cant remember the code numbers off hand but it was always for "lean to rich response too slow" and "small evap leak".
Never caused a drivability issue just more of an annoyance. Mods def aren't always cheap. Besides looks i think I've done everything possible to my car, not having the fault codes anymore though while running the K04 just outs the icing on the cake. Whatever route you go, it'll be nothing but happiness especially without the annoying dash light.

Okay so that is ONE for Griffin Motorwerkes. Have more than one person with a positive experiance chime in and I'll add it to my post.

I'll be honest with you..I've been modifying Audi's for about 7 years now, and this is the first time I'm hearing the name "Griffin Motorwerke".

I find it so strange that these cars yield different results for everyone. I've only just begun modding euros and it makes me miss my Honda.

Yea I ordered a spacer to use, but if it doesn't work i'm going this route. It only makes sense. I just want to purchase and install a TR8 before I go stage 2 just to be safe.

Thanks for the link. I'm going to pick one up. I emailed RocEuro for the third time and still not heard anything back. I should probably just call them at this point.

Theoretically , could you cut apart a Cat and make your own mini insert for the an existing spacer ? I assume the catalized material is pretty fragile though??

From posts and experiences above, it really sees to be hit or miss. Regardless of what anyone currently uses or has used, I give credit to anyone who has had a positive experience. I dealt with mine and the temperamental fault codes. After switching from the StaSis turbo back to the AWE turbo back system I was forced to go back to an OEM converter due to downpipe fitment issues. After going back and forth and figuring warranty expirations I took the plunge and let it all hang out. No regrets what's so ever.

Did you ever receive your spacer ?

I've emailed them again as well as called and left a message. Still haven't received a reply. Possibly the worst company I've ever had to deal with.

I ordered a 90 degree spacer off Amazon. I only have driven the car 1 day with the HFC, but so far no cel. Requested a refund from Roc-euro, and they sent an email quickly saying I had been refunded.

I may have solved my CEL without the RocEuro spacer.

I have 2 vibrant o2 spacers that come with little inserts for air flow or whatever you want to call it. I decided to try adding the second on onto my J style spacer with the smallest of the inserts on both. Cleared my codes and then went for a good hard drive last night with no codes. I've been back and forth to work today and then out around town doing some errands and haven't had any codes come up, yet. Before with the single spacer it would be about 10-15 mins before the CEL would pop up.

I'll be doing some more driving this weekend to test it out. I hope this is a fix until I can afford a tune. As of right now I'd like to be able to tell RocEuro to shove their sensor up their ass, since I still haven't heard from them.

Here's the style of spacers I'm using in case anyone else is having a CEL without a tune on a TP/HFC.

I had an 034 HFC installed a few months ago (so few thousand miles), and I bought this 42 draft spacer....it works pretty well. I've thrown a few CELs but if you have the tools to clear them, then they wont come back for a while. It comes on every now and then, I want to say every 1000 miles. Not too bad, and I hope it will be enough to get me past an OBD emissions test in a year or two.

For those using the catted O2 spacers with success from Roc / Griffin / BIG DADDY, are you using straight or 90s? I want to avoid fitment issues.

I used the catted spacer first and then the 90. This was the only way I could get the 90 to fit. Also the two spacers combined is the only way I stopped the cel with a test pipe, before a tune.
