B8 S4 Fog Lamp Grill Replacement HELP

I made a search on this subject and was unable to come up with anything. However - today was a rough day. I'm not sure if the previous owner had some light contact on the front bumper but I am assuming so, maybe the retaining tabs on the fog lamp grills on my car were worn out, as when I was driving today the grill popped out, got caught up on the front right tire, and punctured the tire sidewall, then promptly blew into a million plastic pieces. Go figure! So not only did I have to purchase a new tire but I have been looking to find a replacement right front fog lamp grill but only have been able to find base A4 ones on ebay.

Would like to avoid paying the Audi price of $180 CDN for a plastic bezel. Does anyone know where I can find a S-line bumper right front foglamp bezel, or S4 fog lamp bezel. Haven't called around the wreckers in the area yet; but if that is what I gotta do then I will. Would rather it show up in the mail at the condo.

I would try ebay or another member.

If you had a B8.5 I would offer to sell you mine as I will be replacing them shortly with ones to match the RS4 grille better.

Ebay only has the stock A4 - couldn't find any S-line or S4

This happened to me a few years back, and I found a replacement one for about $80-$100-ish. I'll see if I can get a link to the site for you.

By the way, when you finally replace yours, I highly recommend securing it to the front bumper with a tapping screw or something similar. My replacement grill was alarmingly easy to pop in and out, so I put in the screw and it's been good ever since. It seems some of the B8 bumpers don't have a super good fit where the foglights are concerned.

I somehow "lost" both the L & R grills. I couldn't find them online any cheaper than at ECS. I ended ordering them from my local dealer because of exchange rate/tax advantages but the price was very similar to ECS's. Actually a little higher before shipping.

Where did you mount the tapping screw? No issues with cracking the bumper?

+1 for ECS. Yes, it costs a little money (way more than a crappy piece of plastic has any right to cost) but at least they are new and you know what you are getting.

FWIW, I had a semi tire explode and hit the front of my car. Took out my fog lamp grille. Bought the replacement from ECS. They are still pretty easy to pop in and out by hand, but as long as I don't take anything to the face I'm good.
