How to turn align the camshaft so I can lock it with the Camshaft Locking Tool?

I'm trying to lock the camshaft with the Camshaft Locking Tool (T10252), and the tool won't fit. I need to line up the camshafts where the groove are pointing to each other. Right now, the camshafts are pointing away from each other. How do I turn this?

Turn the cam with the polydrive socket. Just make sure you turn the engine the correct way.

If not then try to get a socket on the crank bolt and turn the engine over that way.
