Pure Turbos are working on an RS7 turbos upgrade. Still a few months away from manufacturing components. I spoke with Charles the ops manager.

That's exciting! C7 S6/S7 could just skip to those and negate the RS6/7 factory upgrade. That is unless you need RS6/7 turbos for the upgrade or cores?

Just remember that the bigger the turbos, the more the lag. Big turbos are good for airstrip runs, but in the real world, too big is not optimal. On the other hand, if it is just a better turbo design, with reconfigured turbine and/or compressor wheels, then it could be more interesting IMO.
Current Fleet: Porsche 718 Spyder * Audi S5 Sportback * Audi RS5 Sportback
    On order: Audi RSQ8 Performance

Pure turbos usually swipe the internals on factory turbos.

True. As long as they don't increase the exhaust housing size or clip the turbine wheel too much it should retain good spool and low end torque. Getting almost 90% peak torque at just 1750rpm is wonderful, if that figure moves 500-800 rpm to the right it shouldn't be too bad if it means more top end flow. Now a VNT design would be the cats pajamas!
