Troubleshooting front wipers on c5 s6

Howdy,
My front wipers quit working on my s6. I removed the assembly and motor and it's moving freely, not seized up.

I tried checking for power at the 4 pin connector going to the motor and saw no changes when moving the wiper switch.

The rear wipers And front washers still activate just fine from the stalk control.

Is there anything else it can be besides the wiper switch?

Fuses are all good as well.

Thanks in advance, applying rain-x on my front windshield to see is getting old!!

Similar problem as well, they started slowing down and then nothing. Lubed linkages and they are moving freely. Need to go in and check for power and possibly replace the motor. Hoping the one from allroad partout is the same.

Check relay j31. Overly complex relay. Might be good to swap with known working unit.

Great, where is that relay located? Something I can pick up locally or is it a special relay?

Relay it is! Thanks gents, couldn't get a clear determination if there was an external relay or if the function was part of another system, but all good now.
