Very nice, guys. Happy to see a vendor offering these. For those interested, these grilles should not have the interference problem that some of the other mesh grilles have. A huge selling point.

No full mesh with the silver surround? I have been waiting for the full mesh one, but wanted to keep the silver surround to go with the trim around the windows etc...

    Very nice!

Could you please include a couple of pics with the US license plate frame attached as well? Thanks.

Wow, I've been waiting for this! I just ordered (was I first? )

Had a great experience ordering from ED previously (springs, CTS intake). Noticed that those shipped free but this cost me about $25. Probably a lot bigger and heavier so it makes sense.

Hopefully I have some time this weekend to get it installed. I'll be sure to post pics once it's on.

Here's my S with a similar grille (before I lowered it). Might be the same manufacturer. Who knows?

Fabian, you could just wrap/paint your trim? ;)

I don't want the hassle/ cost of having it wrapped or painted.

Have the issues with the parking sensors been worked out? I know you guys had made an adjustment in the mold.

We make adjustments on our end to allow easier installation of the parking sensors, and the full mesh grilles have mounting slots that protrude further (making it easier to mount the sensors). Our install guide has always recommended to test the sensors before re-installing the bumper, as then you can ensure that the sensors are seated enough to not false trigger.

I love the look of this. Is it available with the silver edging like the quattro version? I have the Panther Black and would prefer a little contrast.

My grille came in this morning. Won't be able to install it until tonight. Sorry, I forgot to snap a picture prior to removing the license plate holder. It's very big (tall enough for US plates, wide enough for European) and I suspect most would not find it aesthetically pleasing enough to leave on. It also came with an RS3 badge which, while nifty, I don't feel comfortable keeping on lol.

Alright, so I got it installed and the good news is that it looks great!

I did run into a minor snafu when installing it though with the parking sensors. I'm not sure if it's on purpose or they accidentally glued the sensor brackets in backwards, but the sensors are now orientated 180 degrees off from how they were originally mounted. Additionally, I had to snip the little tab off the edge of the sensors to get it to fit in the bracket.

EDIT: no idea why the third image is upside down, but it's just to show how I had to jerryrig the sensors to fit in the provided bracket.

But it's no biggie. The sensors have enough clearance and they work just like before.

Overall, glad with the purchase and the look! Thanks ED!

Hey bigxie, I ordered this last week and will receive it Weds. I was wondering if you had any parking sensor issues since it's flipped backwards. My concern is that the front sensors seem to display as 4 quadrants and so if the sensor is flipped the 2 quadrants each sensor is responsible for would be flipped too right?

Well, they're still plugged in to the corresponding side's wires so they don't get flipped in that regard.

I suspect these sensors only read in the z dimension so flipping it horizontally shouldn't actually affect the functionality.

So far my sensors have been behaving.

On the checkout page, it should bring up a shipping quote to your zip code. Please feel free to email us if you have any other questions!
