Are the test results comparable between tires in different tests and categories?
For example, if I am deciding between a summer and an all-season tire, can I compare the numbers and ratings from their respective tests knowing that they were never in the same head-to-head test?
I believe that stopping distance, lap times, cornering force should be directly comparable. What about the "subjective" average ratings such as noise, ride comfort, handling etc.?

I can appreciate that if one test is done in May and another in July, depending on the weather, tire temperatures may play a role too, correct?

Specifically, I am deciding between Bridgestone Potenza RE760 and Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus and looking at all the test results head-to-head.

Thank you!
