    Timing Chain - Iwis

    Hey Guys/Girls,

What do you guys think of the Iwis timing chain that europa and ecs sell? I'll be doing a timing overhaul, and plan to get the JHM basic kit that include all tensioners and the iwis chains if they're any good.

If I do it this way i'll save a few hundred bucks which would help as I'm also doing the engine mounts, snub mount, clutch/flywheel, cam adjusters, valley pan gasket etc.

Would be nice to save some coin.

    Thanks!

I've never heard a single trouble on these cars blamed on any of the timing chains specifically. Maybe their made of titanium or something. It's always the tensioners guides or adjusters that are far more likely to cause trouble.

Yes i've never seen anyone blame the chains either, but i'm thinking if im doing the rest, why not the chains as well

Other than jhm everyone sells iwis chains, im assuming they're good
