    Pesky Suspension Chirp

    Hello,

I recently purchased a 13' A6 with the sport package, and just started hearing a chirping noise when driving on a bumpy road or hitting a small pot hole. Before I go down there and start spraying stuff with silicone spray to rule things out, I wanted to ask if there are any usual suspects for a noise like this? In previous cars I have had sway bar bushings and worn tie rods cause similar noises, but this is my first Audi so I am unsure. Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to avoid spending $200 on chassis ears.

Sway bar bushings are a typical culprit.

I sprayed the bushings on the pass side (where I believe the noise is coming from) with silicone and noticed no difference, although that doesn't totally rule it out. Do people usually replace them with OEM bushings or aftermarket poly ones?

    Thanks

Welp, I replaced both front sway bar bushings and no change in sound. Any other opinions?

    Thanks
