    Camshaft adj solenoid

    I have a couple of my cam solenoids going out , freed up many times but I think they are finally done. My question is, has anyone used "off brands" of these solenoids? I know that our audis don't particularly like non-oem parts but when your talking a $50 part compared to a $150. Any thoughts?

    I know that OEM is expensive, but when dealing with electronic parts, especially onces that affect engine management, I personally would not skimp.
