Ordering 19x9.5, go ET 25 or 20?

I've been looking forever for a set of 19" concave wheels for my S5. I have been looking for a nice concave wheel that gives the "illusion" it's larger with a spoke that runs through the lip. Sticking to a budget as I also want to get my AWE exhaust as well.

Originally was going to order a 19x10 Forgestar F14 super deep concave. But there was a 8 week wait as they are custom ordered. I came across a similar looking wheel by MMR called a groundforce GF7. They are nicely concave and have a nice spoke design so they won't look small so to speak illusion wise. and I'll be able to still run a 35 profile tire with some meat. They are about $1,300 which is good & allow me to spare some cash for my AWE exhaust .

I'm not sure if I should go 25 or 20 offset. The guy said I can do a 20mm, I'm just looking to get flush but not look funny in the front.

I'm currently on H&R OE springs with 15/20mm spacers on the stock 19x8.5 wheels. Pretty flush I could probably put a 25mm in the rear of I wanted I just don't want to do ET 20 on the 19x9.5 & the front look weird. I could always go ET 25 and add a 5mm spacer in the rear.

I grabbed some 19x9.5 pictures from google images. I don't see many people run them here so they are unique in that respect. You guys think the S5 could pull these off lowered on OE's?

I run 19x9.5, 20Front, 15Rear. I'm definitely lower than you if you're on H&R OE - you're fine to run either one.

Damn the 590's were high on my list but my friend has him on his s5 in 20x10. And we both have deep sea blue Pearl lol.

What size Hankooks are those? I just ordered a set of 255/35/19 on May 27th. Wonder if I should have went 265? 255 just have a mild stretch on a 9.5" wheel I assume.

Love your color combo btw, smart move too as the satin silver finish is the devil to keep clean on the standard AG finishes.

Yep - that size is just fine. I came from a 255/35 PSS which obviously has a much larger shoulder, so I had the same initial doubt - but overall they work for me.

Thanks again, just curious. What is the offset of your 590 wheel without spacers. I know they have a 25et in a 20x10, I didn't realize they offered a rather low offset in a 19x9.5.

Lol . I feel ya it's flush or nothing! I'm surprised I was able to find these GF07's in a 20/25 ET in a 19x9.5. Almost a impossible find. Although they do need to be drilled so a 1-2 week wait. Forgestar said 8 weeks, I said Christ summer will be almost over lmao.

If ordering 19x9.5 get the 20et size or you'll end up needing to get 5-10mm spacer for the rears.

If you're going 255/35, 100% ET20, and run a 3-5mm rear spacer. I ran 20x9.5 ET21 front, ET16 rear. Was a solid, no chance of rub fit.

Ok cool thanks guys, i was also waiting for Mops to check in haha. I literally held off my order today to MAKE SURE ET20 was the right choice. I think these will look sweet for now, & i'll still be able to get my AWE track exhaust. Frankly i am tired of all the newer Mustangs at stop lights being louder than me lol

They aren't BBS, but i think they look pretty nice. They remind me of the Forgestar F14, in which i was originally getting until they told me 8 week wait Sucks because the F14's were on sale for $1600 MDW, down from $2100. I will sport them this summer and maybe get something higher up the ladder next summer I looked at the Targa's too but a lot of people run them. I didn't see anyone on here run these so that is a plus, something different.

Mops have a fast question before I hit the order button. They only have a 19x10 Et25 in stock. The 9.5" is on back order. How bad will the stretch be on my 255/35/19 Evo 2 Hankooks be? I see a lot of B8 S4 guys run 19x10 on a 255 tire. Will it looks stupid? Tire rack shows it fits but it's the max "recommended" size. From what I seen on the S4 the 255 on a 10" wheels looks "alright".

I'm about to give up lol. I would have went 265 tires but I didn't think I was getting wheels so I went and ordered tires in May for my stock 19".

V12s don't have as chunky of a shoulder as PSS so they may pull a bit more. 255/35 recommended size is 8.5-10" wide so it won't be crazy.

You may have some gap if the car doesn't sit low enough to cover the stretch however.

Yeah I have just about brand new evo 2's installed the other day on my stock 19". I was rocking out with the stock wheels for now but got the itch. I figured if I could fit a 255 I would go ahead.

Maybe it's not meant to be.

Yeah I was afraid of that, I'm on H&R OE's so probably not low enough to cover the stretch. Worst planning ever on my part .

u should buy the tire according to the wheel specs, not a wheel according to tire specs

moar wide ftw! get the 19x10 et 25. mount it up and see how u like it! maybe ull like the semi stretched looks

Yeah its not so much i fear it will be ultra stretched. I just am not sure if i am low enough on the OE's to match it. You are MUCH lower than me and can pull off a stretch a lot better. Maybe i'll gamble.

265 on a 10 would rook really good. but I rather him a 19x10 wheel and et 25 vs the 9.5. 10 inch wide rooks soo much better.

Yes, the wheel may be more attractive, and 10" ET25 is the perfect fit. I prefer that too. I just think he should deal with a small hassle, and move to 265. I don't think he'll like the OE/10/255 combo.

And no, don't show us that

Thanks Mops i was looking for honesty. Id hate to get it all done only to hate it. I'll probably move the 255 for a 265. I am sure the guys over in the B8 S4 forum will grab a set of the V12's from me with a few hundred miles. Or how many ever once my new tires/wheels come in.

I'm so frustrated with all the looking for 19x9.5/10 with a low ET & now the tire ordeal. I'm about to just whip out the Amex & stop playing games and order some BBS CH-R in 20x10.5 lmao.

The Hankooks are brand new essentially. Have maybe 10 miles since I installed them. Oh well, B8 S4 guys will jump on these if I sell them.

AG M580 in satin silver was a close budget choice in 20x10 et25 when I looked weeks ago. $1500 is a solid price.

This is the devil car to find wheels with perfect fitment if you aren't looking at BBS/HRE etc or any high end 2500k plus.
