    Average cost to powder coat calipers? need help on paint code for yellow

    looking to powder coat my RS5 calipers, any idea on average cost??

    also want to do them in yellow, not sure what tone, do you have any good paint codes for yellow?

    I'm not a big fan of powder coating anything, but it's definitely unnecessary for calipers.
    consider G2 caliper paint.
    it's a very popular product on cars far higher up the pay scale than ours:

    I agree. I used VHT caliper paint. It's good for up to 900 degrees. No regrets. Just prep work is a PITA as it is with any painting.

    very impressed with my G2. it has a little bit of orange peel but that might turn out differently on RS% calipers (mine are stock)

    Local shop in Austin quoted me $65/caliper. This cost assumed I would break down the caliper prior to handing over. The cost really gets you when you consider that a caliper rebuild kit is recommended (seals / pistons) & personally I'd pay my shop to do the work @ $110/hr.
