So I've been searching the interwebz for about two straight weeks

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
And I can't find any solid information on my questions at hand.

I just recently bought my first Audi, a 2010 b8 a4 sport with the stasis package. I've seen so much conflicting information about what's included in the signature touring package. For instance, does the exhaust in fact include a 3" DP? Some places say yes and others say no. Also, finding someone with a dyno run that isn't an S4 and a stasis tune seems impossible lol. The numbers on stasis website claims 269hp but the dyno sheet shows 255 so I'm thinking 255 is whp and 269 is to the crank? However I've see people post that they're getting around 245hp? I'm just trying to get a realistic picture of what all I have here because on paper it seems like my car is on par with a stage 2.

I've scoured the forums and used google to its limit but I just keep turning the same search results.

I'm just confused and I hope y'all can forgive me as I am new to this bitch.

    Thanks in advance peeps.

I wish i could be of more help but I know nothing about Stasis. I bought my Audi right as they went out of business. I have a rear sway bar from them I picked up for cheap... it works well. Lol.

Think I can clear some of this up...

Stasis used a GIAC tune and tweaked it a little. Stasis claimed 269hp, 328tq for the touring package, but then their 'dyno sheet' showed 255hp, 305tq. None of those numbers are at the wheels, they're all crank estimates. Considering its just a basic Stage 1 tune, my guess is those are crank numbers for 93 and 91 oct respectively. (Which actually matches up pretty well with APRs Stage 1 estimates.) Below is an actual dyno of the Stasis tune. Nominal dyno output can vary significantly, but the gains are there.

I don't know the diameter of the downpipe, but you can measure that pretty quickly on the car.

Thanks man. So the 245 number should be more realistic of a figure?
I just called someone that works with Audi at a local shop and they told me that even w the stasis tune im only at 211hp. As if I wasn't confused enough!!

There is a user on here from Revo Motorsports who I believe came from Stasis and should be able to provide details.

Stasis signature and touring cars were advertised at 255-270chp, 300-330ctq. Pretty much in-line with Stage 1-2 cars with a tune and exhaust. They tested 0-60 around 5.4 and ran 13.9 in the 1/4. That's what you got. Generally the Stasis tunes were considered more conservative than say APR, but overall performance is very similar. Chasing dyno figures online is sort of pointless. Every dyno is different.

Thanks man, so I should be expecting around 255 to the wheels correct? Because there's literally about 4 different websites all with different data so it's confusing as to what the true figures I should be expecting are.

No. That is estimated power at the crank or motor. The Stasis mods took the car from 211hp stock, up to about 255-270hp.

Wheel power measured by a dyno will be considerably less. The dyno I posted showed 213awhp, which matches up with Quattro's typical 20-25% drivetrain loss.

Okay, thank you! This has been extremely helpful! I plan on taking her to a dyno in Tampa in about a week or two that way I can really see what I'm looking at.

According to this http://www.stasisengineering.com/sit...%20-%20V.2.pdf and http://www.stasisengineering.com/sit...%20S4%20B8.pdf a DP seems to be part of a B8 A4 Signature Install.

That's what I thought but some of their details were a little too vague for me. I didn't know if someone had the signature series and could offer some solid info based from experience. But thank you guys you've all been great.
