    Are these from a B6 or B7? I think the mirror caps on the B6 were more chrome than brushed...?

    These are from a 2005 B6 s4. and i have never noticed that. they are definitely brushed. i thought hte only difference was that early b6 had real aluminum and late b6 and b7 had plastic aluminum look.

    Sounds like you had one guy that was interested in just the housings. I may be interested in just the motorized/electronic parts without the housings, if you change your mind about splitting them up.

    so these are not heated? how can I tell for sure which options my existing mirrors have?

    These are sold. Sorry. But these were heated, auto-dimming and power folding. I have another set of real aluminum ones off my 2004 S4 I am parting but I am not trying to seperate the housings and they are slightly more expensive.
