Are the front control arms the same between the 4.2 and the 2.7? I thought the 4.2 were longer. I was looking at the kits on Eva and noticed they have the same part number for both engines

i think the only one that is different is the curved one
the allroad version has a bigger ball joint cone than the a6 version
    Rockin' the Rockies
'01 allroad, 250k woot woot, still boosting on original turbos and tippy, slightly modified. . .

Are the kits from Europaparts legit? By the price, it doesn't seem so...

Ecs didn't list that many for the application. Don't want to order parts and find out they don't fit. I had the mee ones in my a4 with no problems.

You can buy the same Lemforder parts on RockAuto for about $20 less but not including shipping. I would be surprised if the quality was not the same as OE.

Idk, I usually FCP my control arms, and the only issue I've ever had is that the locknut is sometimes a plain locknut and not the shouldered one you need. Plus FCP has outstanding customer service.

I believe Lemforder would be one of the OEM suppliers. BMW (E46) guys claim the same as well.
