    :: ECS Tuning :: NEW!! ECS Flush Fit Kit | B9 A4

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

The German TUV (Technical Inspection Association) has determined that in several European countries the clearance between fender and tire must be adequate to accommodate snow chains when safety requires.

In North America, where no such law exists, A4 owners have the option of restoring Audi's original intention of providing a focused race-bred machine by widening their car's stance, improving road-holding and performance aesthetics.

Improve your stance appeal with the in-house fit/tested hubcentric 10mm front / 12.5mm rear ECS spacers & appropriate-length bolts setup.

    Kit includes:

    • Front 10mm Spacers - 2
    • Rear 12.5mm Spacer - 2
    • 38mm Black Ball Seat Wheel Bolts - 10
    • 40mm Black Ball Seat Wheel Bolts - 10

    Get that flush fitment

Click HERE to order or for more information

    Fits:
    Audi B9 A4 '16+

*This kit is designed to work with the factory 18" wheels that are 18"x8" ET40*

Let me know if you have any questions.

Do you have any pictures of the A4 fitted with 12.5mm front and 15mm rear OR 15mm front and 17.5mm rear?

Would you think either / both option would work okay with 19" wheels. Contemplating between the three sizes before I commit to an order.

I would imagine that would be too much. Our kit gives the factory wheels a flush fit which is even with the fenders. Going with even thicker spacers would likely cause the wheels to poke out past the fenders. Which could definitely cause some rubbing.

Knowing that ECS' kit makes the 18" wheels flush, it should be easy to figure out optimal spacers for yours if you just compare the effective offsets of the two OEM wheels.

I can look in a second.

Aren't 19" wheels the same width as 18"?

Also, I really want these, but way too early... want to put them on a future S4! (would they be the same as A4 ya'think?)

To San Diego? Our Typical transit time is 4 business days to that area. Assuming you have ordered with us prior so you can ship to a different location than the billing address.

What size kit would make the 19" Audi wheels flush? I will order now if you have an answer...and hopefully pics!

I don't know of the top of my head. But seeing that the 19s are 8.5in width it will change how our flush kit would fit on those wheels.

The best way to understand which size spacer you need, is to simply measure from the top outside edge of your tire to the inner lip of your fender. This will give you the best idea on how much size you have to work with, and to decide on how much your wheels need spaced.

Once you know that let us know and I will be able to recommend which size will be the best fit for your application.

Here is a diagram that might help as well.

I guess I'm having difficulty believing or understanding that Audi would provide options for 18 and 19 inch wheels that create a different outcome on the spacing from wheel to fender in any direction. The circumference and diameter of the tire have to be the same for wheel speed to measure properly, right? Are 19in wheels somehow wider than 18in? By how much? They don't look any different on the configurator program. Honest question here.

    When I looked up 19s for B9 A4 they gave the spec 19X8.5 ET40

This is wider than the 18X8 by half an inch.

Though it is wider this is the reason they make such a variety of tire sizes. It would be no different than if your vehicle came with 18's and you want to run aftermarket 19's you simply would get the proper size tire that is likely a series smaller to accommodate the added inch in height.

Here are the OEM wheel specs I found for the B9.

    17x7.5 ET38
    18x8 ET40
    19x8.5 ET40

This means the 19" will "poke" 6mm more as compared to the the OEM 18" from the factory. Thus, after adjusting according to ECS' 18" flush spacer sizes, you would want 4mm front, and 6.5mm in rear. Probably easier to find 5mm F and 7mm R.
