I notice an odd behavior when temperatures spiked in to triple digits this last few days ago... it may not have to do with the heat but thats my only connection I can correlate this with.
Usual driving patterns while on D, gears shift up between 1800-2000 rpm range. I notice during the really high temps 102º+ gears shifted up between 2200-2800 rpm range with no change in throttle input. As temps went down through the day (<100º) gears changes returned back to the normal pattern.
I had no codes or anything else, I was thinking it may have something to do with turbos working harder because of the heat soak but not sure if that would make sense.
This is my first automatic transmission in years not sure if this is normal behavior in general with automatics. I wouldn't think its worthy of dealer visit, car operated normal other then that.
