Post 10k miles on timing, P0011 code

Rebuilt my timing last summer, about 10k miles ago. A few months ago the P0011 "cam timing over-advance bank 1" code popped up for about two days, and the car felt down on power. Then it went away and ran fine since. Came back about a week or so ago, and the car feels sluggish between about 2200 and 3200 rpm, but feels strong throughout the rest of the range.
I'm assuming it has to do with my bank 1 adjuster, which can be gotten to without a motor pull, so I'm not too concerned. Both adjusters were replaced with JHM Intermediate kit 10k miles ago. Any input as to what may be going on?

Did you replace the electric adjusters that come in the full kit? My guess would be one of those ha gone bad.

I had this same problem when I was in the process of doing my timing. If it says "too far advanced retard setpoint not reached". This means that the electronic solenoid is failing. It can be accessed I'm pretty sure without pulling the engine and what not. I sourced another electronic adjuster and just pulled the solenoid out of it and put it into my unit.
