Yes, this isn't Audi related but i am trying to see if anyone has worked on a 2001 Jetta VR6. I have a code reading "output shaft speed sensor" and was told i need to take the motor mount off to replace this sensor. It shows the sensor below the battery box on the driver side of the engine bay and this being done from the top of the engine.

Does anyone know if there is an easier way to replace this sensor & without removing a motor mount??
Seems a little ridiculous to be that hard of a job for a $40.00 sensor!

Any info would be greatly appreciated! I am trying to sell the Jetta to pay for a timing chain job on my 2010 A4
