I am looking at purchasing a CPO 2013 B8.5 S4 and I am weighing the possibility of selling my 2007 S4 as opposed to keeping it as my spare.
Here are the vitals:
Stock 2007 Audi S4 automatic
72xxx (will go up as this is my DD)
Deep Sea Blue Pearl exterior, black interior
I am the 2nd owner, since 09/2010. The car originally came from Napa California with ~22k, was dealer maintained during the original warranty period. Afterwards at a well known local shop (Chicago Performance and Tuning).
Maintenance:
Oil Changes every 5000 with Mobil 1 0w-40 or Castrol
Brakes were done around 50k
Valve Cover Gaskets and front crankshaft seal replaced
Check valves and valley pan gasket and o-rings replaced
Expansion tank replaced
Coil packs replaced
Hood strut replaced
Front upper and lower control arms replaced this year
Car comes on stock wheels with Continental Extreme Contact tires, one side is brand new due to nails, the other side has about 1 year on them. I also have a set of 17" winter Blizzak's which I swap in during the winter.
The car does not have Cold Start Chain Rattle, does not burn or leak oil, has never been tracked or pushed as hard as it should have been but I digress. The body is clean and the paint looks fine but it has a few repaired chips here and there.
The interior is excellent condition the seats look great outside of the driver's side which has a bit of wear from getting in and out of the car. I have all keys and maintenance records. I am not desperate nor do I need to sell the car, that being said I'd prefer it went to a good home as opposed to sitting in storage for half the year.
TrueCar tells me market price for a similar car with 10k more miles here in the Chicago area is 17,500, which is wildly optimistic in my view but it is out there.
