I'm a new owner....I got a us mobile 500mb data sim and inserted it I to the mmi...it reads the Sim because 2G shows up and has a high signal strength...but my maps don't look like Google maps and I am unable to search google...any ideas? When I checked my us mobile account after using what I thought was Google maps for 1 weeks I still had 500mb of data lol so I clearly haven't been using it.

Just to be clear. You don't have Google Maps, actually. The maps are HERE maps (formerly Navteq) stored on the MMI's disk. On top of that you can overlay Google Earth satellite images. These are just satellite images that are superimposed over the local map, they can't be used for navigation. They are strictly for visual appeal.
