    Yup, trouble already...

    Brake pedal travels +/- 1/2" (free play) and brakes start to engage. Initially there is a small amount of bite and the pedal becomes extremely stiff. I have to really put my ass into the pedal in order to slow the car down. Pads are fine, rotors are still in good shape. The issue hasn't been developing, it is an all of a sudden thing. I'm pretty sure it is the brake booster or something contained therein, but I'm looking for opinions.

    Within the past 10k, clutch has less than 5k on it (miles, because I'm American).
