Stasis Suspension? Is the company dead???

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I looked and couldn't find a clear answer any where and to complicate matters their site is still up and functioning. Tried calling and email but got no response.

Only reason i ask is i had a rear shock mount crack (No clue how it happened. Lower shock mount - threaded piece attached to shock) and im trying to see if I can find a replacement over redoing the entire suspension system.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, they are done. I'm sure parts could still be sourced though, try contacting PSI or similar suspension people.

Stasis/Ohlins the parts can be found directly through Ohlins. Statis just put their name on the suspension due to custom valving.

Heard some people have had bad luck with PSI lately. Another guy went through Feal suspension in California, he said they were reasonably priced and the turn around time was much quicker than PSI.

PSI isn't fast during parts of the hear, but they tell you that. They have always done excellent work for me for extremely reasonable prices. I would recommend them to anyone.

I hear you. I always used to hear great things about them. It's just lately I've heard some not so good things. Even Jason had a few words to share about them on some recent business with them. I was just letting everyone else know there's some other options out there as well to shop around.

Thanks for all the advice. I am working with PSI right now but its quickly becoming cost prohibitive and is starting to involve custom machining. Based off of the conversations so far its going to cost around between $325 - $420 for two replacement end eyelets. Turns out I have a very early version of the Stasis SL suspension on the car. The rear eyelets had manufacturing oversight which enabled corrosion to build up between the eyelet and the bushing leading to the failure I experienced (The rear eyelet cracking in half). They subsequently changed the setup in the later designs.

I will reach out to Feal as well just to see if maybe they have a replacement part in stock or can recommend a more cost effective solution.

The question I have for you guys would there be an issue with retaining the front coil overs and replacing the rear Stasis SL Shocks to another aftermarket options such as Bilstien (Can replace both for 240 bucks)? My best guess is the set up has around 45 - 50K miles on the vehicle as it sets. With the difficulty of finding replacements parts I would assume a refresh of these is out of the question.

Let me know what you guys think or if there is another recommended suspension setup out there.

Total cost came out to $250 so all in all not to bad considering the circumstances. PSI has been very helpful and informative the entire time so shout out to those guys for the help.

Also when I get mine rebuilt I will reach out o Feal. Looks like they do a great job.
