    Hello,

I'm trying to supplied a B7 RS4 headlight switch, it's for a friend so I'm not aware of the difference available for this knob. It appears some switch are made for fog light only, some for DRL, some do everything.. I also saw that theres 52 different copies on ebay, most are sold as A4 switch, so unsure if the rs4 has more option that needs a knob with a different connector on the back, for exemple.

Please help me supply one of these switch. In fact, it's only the ''pointer'' the center that need replacing, but i think it might just be easier to replace the whole unit lol.

    Thanks for the help,

You need to know what options are on his RS4 - specifically whether it has the auto lights option, whether it has DRL(in the UK these were standard on the B7 RS4) and whether it has front & rear fogs (again both were standard in the UK).

When I got my A4, the switch was missing almost all of the paint. I bought the cheap ebay one for $9. when I plugged it in, I noticed my fogs didn't work. So I took them both apart and used the ebay one for the cosmetic reason and the OEM one as a the main components for the switch. Hope this makes sense...
