Welcome to NorCal. I don't live out in the SF Bay but I think you'll enjoy it out there. I think theres a Facebook group that hangs out a little bit in that area.

You may want to join the Golden Gate Chapter of the Audi club so you can get that car onto the track!

If you're living in SF, I'd strongly suggest ensuring that your car is always garaged.

I am hoping to live somewhere near SFSU because that will be my graduate school. No exact place as of now.

Amen to that! Definitely find a garage! Those are a luxury in the City. Since you're going to SFSU, you might want to think about moving to Daly City, South SF or Millbrae. Good luck!

I can't agree with keiffr more. Parking is a nightmare. Before you decide to move outta town, check out the Richmond district. There's still quite a few places with parking for reasonable prices in the sunset and Richmond. Even ingleside has some nice spots. I lived off 23rd and taraval for like 5 years, while attending SFSU, then commuting to Berkeley. Worked out well. I miss having a place with space.

Otherwise, expect to pay around 400 a month for parking. My place in nob hill is 1 block from my actual apartment. And I pay an extra 450 a month for parking alone.

Also, if you're planning on driving to SFSU parking may be an issue there. Street parking and very limited private lot parking. You might think about taking public transportation i.e. Muni
