Sim card in Canadian Audi

Hey there,
it appears that Canadians don't have Audi Connect which sucks, but just wondering if anyone has tried putting in a data sim into the slot anyway and if we get anything at all.
Anyone know if it's a Micro Sim, Nano Sim?

Do you have a SIM card slot in the MMI unit? If so then it's a mini SIM (original SIM was credit card size), I'm using a nano SIM with mini SIM adapter. If you have the SIM card slot then you may be able to enable WiFi Hotspot and data but you won't be able to enable Google Earth and other Audi Connect services since they require an active subscription.

Yup I have a sim card slot in the MMI.
thanks for clarifying the size of the sim. Did not know the original was credit card size. In any case,
