Thoughts?

I currently have a 2005 C6 3.2, but I'm really looking into getting into a S4. I recently found a 2011 S4 but the down side is it has 75k miles (my c6 has 74k). I like my 6, but I would like something that may be a little more fun? Input on this trade? Do you guys think it's worth it? Looking for positive feedback.

The S4 is a good car; a good balance of luxury and sport. If you are serious about this purchase, you MUST get a pre-purchase inspection. The 3.0t motor and the DSG are solid units but can be very expensive to repair/replace if the car has been neglected or overly abused.

If you do not mind having a smaller car yeah then go for it the engine and suspension will be better of course. I always wanted an s4 whilst still having my C6 but if the roomier A6 cabin isn't something you wouldn't mind giving up then I think it's a good trade.

I've kicked this around for a while now, but while I want a little bit more of a sporty feel, I'm not sure I could live with the smaller car (I'm 6'4"). But besides that, I agree with Sin, make sure you get a PPI

I wanted an S4 too but I went with the 3.0T 6 as well. A tune and pulley upgrade and I'm more than happy with my choice. Love the space (I'm 6'2") and it's still a rocket.

My only complaint about the a6 is the tranny. I wish it had the 8 speed my q5 has.

yeah but honestly the ZF 8speed is almost just as fast and seems to be a better tranny overall

Great input! My decision will be made in the next 2 months. I am getting ready to PCS and I found a 2010 S4 with 38k less miles and in better condition in my home town for about the same price. @Sin you may see me there ;)
