    Broken cylinder head?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Thought my cylinder head gasket was leaking because of compression in the cooling system, but after inspecting the gasket and head i found some craters in the cylinder head. Could this be the reason of compression in the coolant system?

Also does anyone know what torque and sequence is used to fasten the cylinder head bolts? Thanks

You even look at his pic? That is most definitely NOT a 1.8t. He has 1.9tdi.

I am not sure what those are the result of. How deep are they?

Looks like casting flaws, wouldn't worry unless a crack is visible. Hard to see in pic though, maybe clean it up some more?
