Part numbers needed

I'm having a tough time finding the following two part numbers. Can anyone help?
- Rubber grommet thingy that goes under the engine cover and holds it in place. There should be three but one of mine is missing and now it rattles like a mofo.
- The cap that screws into the bottom of the oil filter housing.

yeah my cap is missing too. I figured it would be just part of the oil filter hpusing though .

rubber grommet think im not sure what you are taking about . The rubber washers that go over the screws ?

Phill is it a threaded cap or just pop in ? Maybe I could find something suitable if its threaded and I can id the thread size.

If you know a kickass machine shop they can make one for you, otherwise I'd look in scrapyards

yeah not too many engines to be found , everyone I have checked the whole engine has been scavenged .. gees I wonder why ? ;)

I think id have better luck finding the thread size.

what happened to your filter housing?

on mine when I bough the car the cap for the bottom was gone. So that's all I need . I may eventually just get an aluminum one, but if I could find the cap for it in the meantime id be happy.

Mine is missing the cap on the bottom. The housing is fine otherwise. Carfax showed that the previous owner would sometimes take it to Jiffy Lube, (*shudders*) so they probably tossed the cap in the trash bin.

That cap is there so dirt doesn't clog that valve, it won't loose oil if the cap is gone. There are plugs that I use when I work with hydraulic systems
to plug leaking pipes;

Something like those ^ you can use one to plug the hole so it doesn't fill with dirt
