Tell me everything there is to know about these cars, how easy are they to work on. Parts? Boost capabilities? Maintenance? Also where can I find some S2 head lights? She already comes with an S2 bumper just need some new headlights and work to get her running.

it all depends on your skill set. The truth is, they are much easier to work on than a B5S4. The stock high compression engines don't love boost unless you are using E85. Maintenance is often neglected by previous owners, but not hard to do. Maintenance parts should be pretty easy to get, AutohausAZ.com is a great source as is rockauto.com. S2 headlights will need to be sourced from Europe, there are a few styles, Keep in mind that there is a difference between RHD and LHD, so be careful if you are purchasing from England.

Ok, so Im going to be pretty ok getting this then. Wasnt too worried about maintenance because I do all the work on my car now myself. And that can be a pain in the ass. I am considering E85 for this car. I hear they're pretty nasty well built also. She currently doesnt run. I know she will need, the basic tune up. New plugs, air filter, battery, probably oil, all that shit gas I know has to be siphoned. I work at oreilly's so all that shit will be easy to get. And I was afraid of that, I looked on the German ebay a few weeks back and saw s2 headlights but was wondering if I could source them here, guess not though. Its fine, but thanks for all the info, I dont feel so blind going in now.

why would you do E85 on a 7A engine?

get the car, fix it to a decent level (lots of wrenching and money) then think about turbo charging, if you still in the mood

    You're right.

Just pump e85 in it. It will always make more powers

I think B5 S4 kiddo's should stick to B5 S4's, if they cant afford and don't have the skillset to make those run, they don't have a snowcones chance in hell with any classic Audi.

You're right. Why would I do e85 on a stock slow ass engine that doesnt even make 200hp from the factory. All I did, was ask.....how these engines....like boost? Its, an NA engine. We all know NA engine do not like a ton of boost but na engines can take boost. You guys are acting like Im getting this car and immediately throwing a turbo on it and putting in e85 with out a tune and expecting it to work..

What makes you think any of that? My car runs and drives, just fine.... If I couldn't "afford" and don't have the "skill set" to make my car run why would I get an even older Audi that doesn't even start? I asked how easy are these to work on because the b5 s4 has minimal amount of room for anything in the engine bay. I didn't ask because I don't think I could do it. And I asked what the maintenance was like compared to a b5 s4. Because if the s4 is is average cost which it is I cant imagine one of these being much worse when actually running. I mean for god sake the s4 take two of everything.

I think you're jumping the gun just a little too early. Im not gonna get this car and just go "pump e85 in it". Obviously you would need a turbo first for any kind of results and you would need a tune....Maybe you aren't thinking straight about, "the steps" to "just pumping e85" in a vehicle.
