Hopefully someone can shed some light on this problem for me. I have a high mileage 2009 Audi A4 with 126k. The suspension modifications I have are Solowerks coil overs and ecs slotted & drilled rotors with stainless steel brake lines. A few days ago I've noticed a creaking sound coming from the passenger front wheel area. It's mainly at low speeds (0-10 mph). I started it up today and now there's a sound that sounds like sandpaper rubbing against something. I do realize that that coil overs could be shot given that they are a fairly cheap set. It's high mileage though so it could be bushings, control arms, tie rods (anything). Has anyone had a similar problem? I work for Audi & was planning on getting it towed to service on Tuesday. It could probably be driven but I don't want to risk it. I have a video of the creaking sound which I will attach. Any input will be appreciated!
