    Stuttering shifting,

Hello all. I am new to this forum as well as being new to Audi. Just bought a 2007 A4 2.0T automatic. Have had it about a week and have noticed that when accelerating, the gears seem to shift too fast, example I am in 4th gear but only going 35 mph. There is also times when the car will shake as if the gear isn't engaging. This usually happens in gears 2, 3, and 4. Once I am in 5 and 6 it settles down, but when I decelerate it doesn't seem downshift and I am sometimes in 6th gear around 40 mph. In addition I've noticed a significant shaking when allowing the car to decelerate without braking. I know it is some type of transmission issue, but I have no idea where to start. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not sure which transmission you have, but I will assume it is the CVT transmission, cause I have an 06 b7 2liter auto. I had the same issues and it turned out to be the computer that is inside my transmission. I had it repaired and everything is perfect now. The only downfall was it cost me a little over $2000 to fix.
