not typical coolant leak- help needed

My 2002 Allroad, 2.7t is leaking coolant forward of the drivers turbo. the area is very difficult to see. I cannot find nor see the sourse but have location narrowed down to the following.
aft of the black hose that is attached to the block and runs between lh engine mount and block. I lightly pressurized the coolant tank and get a steady drip, running down the block.
There is a prominant lug perpendicular to the block with about a 5/8 inch dia hole that the coolant is running on, so the leak is above that. I am trying to avoid pulling engine, but this area is imposossible to see at this point. I have so far removed the lh turbo air outlet tube, cv shield and still cannot see source as it is above the subframe.

I could not get a good angle. Found out that the hose is the turbo coolant return drivers side. I have Not been able to get to the samll bolt that holds the metal portion to a bracket. Hose and banjo removed . Any ideas how to get to this bolt. I researched many threads but have not found the bolt as subject.

Support the motor from above and start to drop the subframe? Youd have to support the back of the trans. with a jack and remove trans mount nuts. That might get you the room you need to work with.

You do not need to remove the metal part of the line. You can cut the bardb that is holding the rubber portion of the hose and install some generic coolant hose. You may be able to just pull the rubber portion off without cutting the barb. I have not done this with the front coolant lines, but I did this with the rear lines recently.
