Help with s5 to rs5 conversion

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am acquiring all the parts to convert my s5 to the rs5 rear. I currently have the AWE Touring exhaust. I am wondering what modifications I am going to have to do to the AWE so it will fit properly in the rs5 bumper.

Obviously this is what I'm interested in

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hangars will need modifying as the RS5 exhaust sits higher than the A/S5.

You'll either need to modify or replace your rear quarters for the bumper to fit too, assuming you're going with OEM parts.

if you get the aftermarket RS5 bumper like Rieger I have heard that it is the same fitment. so you wont have to modify anything. As for your exhaust, You will no longer have AWE tips. You probably either have to pull them off or get them cut off to the oval.

Thanks guys. I'm going to do OEM and just modify existing fenders. I plan on having the car painted anyway. should I buy the hangers from the RS5? or is there a way to customize?
