I have the cornering lamp feature enabled on my car (fog light fade in and out when turning). Will these LEDs work properly with this feature?

Cornering light on B8.5 would not work properly.
You need to either disable the cornering light feature and use cool LED's or cornering lights with dull yellow halogen. :D

No fault code for sure. Otherwise, we would not advertise it on this forum.

    FAQ's:
How are they compared to other competitors?
--> I'm not 100% sure what other competitors' would be like but I'm not a big fan of ones with bulky cooling fan because it not only takes up too much space, it also may fail before the LED lights.

Is it really brighter than halogen?
Yes, it is. Halogen light is appx. 1100 lumens. These are 2500 lumens. See comparison photos actually taken by us to get an idea.

    Happy Memorial Day, Everyone!

You got me! This seems to be lowest price point for these so I picked up a pair. I can't wait to actually start using my fog lights! The stockers are worthless.
I was tempted to pickup a set for my 05' Allroad but will wait for now.

Why would this cause issues with the cornering lights, it's a different bulb right? Please explain lol

These are not meant to fade I believe. When using the cornering feature the bulb fades in and out.

On most of Porsches with cornering light, did not have any problem but for some reason, B8.5 did give error message.
It is probably because the cornering light dims on/off very slowly/gradually.

Just wanted to post my experience with these LED's and HIDConcept. Shipping wast fast. Ordered on May 30, shipped next day and arrived 2 days later.

Packaging was too notch. Each light was secured with foam cut outs.

Install: Despite being a bit apprehensive of the rear approach (that's what she said - Giggity) I went for it. Too many people swore that this was easier and less sketchy with potential for the fog grill breaking. Lock the steering wheel to opposite side that you are working to expose torx screws. Both driver and passenger side I took out the two torx screws on the wheel well to gain access but could have managed with just one in my case as my hands are smaller and the liner is quite flexible. New lights went in easy. I would recommend you verify complete seating and sealing of the light from the front with a light (phone light worked for me) to ensure all 3 holding tabs are present. Once The new lights went in I connected the harness. After connecting there was quite a bit of wire slack and I didn't want them bouncing inside the bumper so I used double sided Velcro to secure them. Passenger side I secured excess wires to a black wire protecting hose nearby. Driver side I secured the loose wires to themselves by doubling them up. I then secured the bundle to an A/C line. The last step was fanning the heatsinks. Passenger side was no problem. Driver side had a rubber hose in close proximity and I fanned the heatsinks away from this so that it did not touch the hose.

One other tip that worked for me was to use my phone light and actually place my phone inside/behind the wheel well while I worked. This gave great visibility and prevented a blind approach to insertion while freeing both hands to work.

    Appearance:
Very bright! A bit more blue than the Headlights or DRL's but not annoyingly so. No error codes. I will actually use my fog lights now and will no longer have light envy when I see my wife's factory LED fog lights in her Infinity QX60 ;)
