    Since picking this baby up a few weeks ago, I've gone off the deep end and started the upgrade path not even 100 miles into ownership. I figured I may as well document it!

    Here she is complete with bow and dealer swirls!

    A week later, in for paint correction + full front Xpel Ultimate + Llmar CTX tint + OptiCoat Pro

    Added ECS Spacers 15mm/20mm and full 034 inserts and VAGCOM tweaks including 17mm drop

    Front Before ----> After

    Rear Before ----> After

    Decided to get a baseline dyno before the upgrades come in.

    Mustang Dyno showing 404whp/382wtq median of 3 pulls. Not too bad I think!
    edit: actual is 369.3whp/352.3wtq ------- 406whp/387.4wtq w/WCF on final run 91 octane

    ... Stay tuned!

    Ok I dont get it. I am looking at the VR tuned piggyback system and their baseline on an S6 on a mustang dyno is like 320 WHP. How can there be such a discrepancy on same car and same dyno machine?

    I also thought it seemed high compared to others on mustang dynos. Looking at my papers I see where the numbers come from. It's 369.3whp actual and 406whp w/WCF. Updating my first post. Thanks for pointing that out!

    Ahh now it makes sense. 406 corrected. Neverthelessnow you have a baseline to compare. Just use uncorrected.

    APR Stage 1 ECU/TCU; AWE Touring Exhaust

    Yesterday, I finally got to pick up my car at Eurotek Tuning. It took longer than expected since AWE accidentally sent me the wrong midpipe. Eurotek did a fine job getting it reshaped to fit. In addition, they installed the APR Stage 1 ECU and TCU tune with APR Mobile dongle. One thing of note, my APR mobile bluetooth is not working! Darn it, APR will probably have to replace it. Oh well. As far as the tune, the car pulls amazingly strong as others have mentioned. I mostly feel that midrange bump that APR has been able to open up. It pulls like crazy and just keeps on pulling. Couple that with the AWE Touring exhaust and it such a winning combination. The tone is so tuned and throaty, yet has that exotic feel. Since I have a '13 I don't get all the yummy burps, pops, and farts of the C7.5's but nonetheless it's sexy! In addition, I love how it still retains the comfortable cruising tone that does not disturb the cabin on long drives. No drone either! I do understand once I get Stage 2 downpipes that may change a bit. The best part is that putting it into dynamic and sport just opens it up and the beast awakens! And the downshift blips are just so tasty!

    Also, my Eurocode goodies came in. I'll probably tackle the Alu Kreuz on my own since that looks very easy. But I may leave the sway bars to the pros. This equipment looks so good! Too bad it'll be under the car and noone will be able to get a good look at this craftsmanship.

    No regrets at all! The pictures above are pretty accurate as far as color. But it definitely doesn't capture the size and depth of them very well. Most likely cell phone camera limitations. Though, because the wheels are pretty dark now I'm having to consider smoking out my chrome pieces. We'll see. Thanks for the kind words. I've really been enjoying this process.

    Eurocode Alu Kreuz, sway bars, end links

    So I had some time to focus in the garage today. Thought I would take a stab at installing the Alu Kreuz and if I felt lucky the front sway bar since those seemed like the easier ones. The AK install went very smoothly and gave me the confidence to try the front sway bar. The front was fairly easy as well. The hardest part was just contorting my body underneath since my jack stands were not giving me as much clearance as I thought. Nonetheless, I had enough room to get it done! I only drove around the neighborhood a bit to make sure nothing was gonna fall off, but just a bit of quick zig zagging and quick turns already I could feel a difference! The steering felt more responsive. I still need to have the rear done, but I'll most likely leave that to the shop since it looks like a pain in the ass.

    They are suspension mods from Eurocode. It improves body roll and steering response.

    Post Dyno time APR Stage 1

    Hit the dyno today to see what kind of power stage 1 is giving me. And what I see is pretty impressive! APR has done some wonderful work with these engines. 91 octane was used for both tests. The ambient temps were about 15 degrees higher than last time.

    Now for the numbers.
    Stock - 91 octane APR Stage 1-91 octane/AWE Touring Exhaust
    AWHP actual 369.3 395.5
    AWTQ actual 352.3 469.2

    While the delta up top for HP is not that impressive (heat? seems to be missing 30hp up top) , the delta in the midrange is insane. Showing ~120-140+whp increase around 3000rpm. And the torque delta is even more impressive. Showing a delta of ~230+wtq @3200rpm. I guess the AWE exhaust really helps along with lighter wheels! Overall, I am very happy with the results!

    so, any increase to harshness after the sways and alukreuz? I've been thinking of just throwing money at eurocode to apr stg 1 + that, but I don't want to compromise the plush ride

    so, any increase to harshness after the sways and alukreuz? I've been thinking of just throwing money at eurocode to apr stg 1 + that, but I don't want to compromise the plush ride
    I haven't noticed any difference, but I drive in dynamic mode 95% of the time. The biggest testament though, is through my wife. She drives the car in comfort mode 99% of the time and she hasn't noticed any changes in the suspension. It still feels plenty cushy to me when just cruising.

    I know the firm feeling, however. My old Honda Civic had Tein coilovers and sway/strut bars. And that thing would rock my world on Michigan roads back when I lived there. This setup is NOT even close to that. Haha

    Post Roc Euro installed

    So, I finally got my car back after being at Audi for almost a week. The motor mount was replaced and the codes are gone. The car feels a bit more crisp and less jerky at low speeds. My SA also found the engine cover was coming loose so they replaced it with the newer model. And the chipping trim on the inside driver's side door was also replaced. All under warranty, thank goodness!

    I was able to get some time today to install the Roc Euro intake. As others have noted it is a very easy install and took me about 20min taking my time and getting interrupted by my curious 2 and 4 year olds. I just used the step by step instructions provided by other AZ members since instructions are not provided. I did a quick test run to make sure everything was running smooth. Hard acceleration with a quick release of the throttle yields the yummy blow off valve sound. Loud enough, but not annoying. It's actually more prevalent with the windows up. Driving in D, under normal load, it's barely noticeable. Open her up and there's the blissful sound of the AWE exhaust out the rear and the tuned turbos sound from the front. Perfect. Butt dyno in 112 degree weather feels like she's not gasping for breath as much. Doesn't feel like she's lagging as much up top. This is all under the stock tune since I've yet to see my APR dealer to get reflashed.

    Tomorrow I will be getting my AMS cooler installed and my stage 1 reflashed. Soon after I will be visiting the dyno to see if there really is any change with the intake and to test the cooler's capability in this hot @$$ weather.
