I have a 2009 3.2L A4 and have replaced the stock incandescent tail lights with aftermarket LED ones. I am receiving errors on my dash for rear right/left fogs and tail lights and I was hoping to get instructions to remove these errors via VAG COM. THANKS!!

I've had these tail lights installed for almost a year and they work great. Thank you for the codes; i'll try and use them soon and let you know how it goes!

Will this work for the licence plate lights as well?

I have not tested this on licence plate lights. For this should be channel 192 oem value 3, new value 2 test save.(same process with security code)

I just tried this on my B8 and I can confirm it disables the numberplate light check. However, it does throw up a fault code, but does not show unless you scan with vag com.

Ok, probably same story as for bulbcheck rear lights channel 191(bulb error in dash only). Did yo test 181 as well? If still error in memory, must be one more channel - just a guess ! Or maybe value has to be 0 on 192 to disable error check in dash and in module !

I tried 0 on 181 but I'm still getting error on my fog lights.
So I should also do on 192?

If you talking about front fogs- no luck with this, module 46 is only for rear lights ! Module 09 is for front lights! Same as you get error in module, you never get front lights error in module 46. One guy promised me bulbcheck off solution for front as well, but silence, hopefully he will read and reply

I have the 2013 faclift led (avant) lights retrofitted (oem) with kufatec harness. When I checked 181 it was already on 0. I guess the coding module that comes with the wiring harness from kufatec does it.. But I have no faults from rear lights (tailights) only licenseplate lights.

I was just at the dealer and the head mechanic showed me 46 and 09 are the same module in the truck. Any idea which channel I need to look for?
