Video of my fast lap at ICAR...

Anyway I let a BMW go ahead because the guy wanted a clean track to set his best time of the day. I held back the rest of the cars without impeding their runs.

This also allowed me to get the feel of the Michelins and build up the heat/pressure in them. Once I pass the BMW after he gets into traffic I go for my best time of the day (on lap 6).

However when I do come up on the RX7 who decides to track out to the right side of the track (good), but doesn't give me the point by fast enough, I have to lift momentarily losing time.

Add to that a missed shift on my part when passing the RX7, causing me to lose additional time, then I also have another shifting episode coming out of the corner prior to the main straight further losing time.

I figure I could have been at least half a second to perhaps a full second faster on that lap.

I continue to push on the next lap but come up to two cars towards the end of the lap forcing me to back off completely...
