    camp allroad registration open!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey fellow C5-ers, PSA. Registration in open for the second camp allroad event. Here a real nice informative post from Sean (Dropshadow) from the Avant section. Just one thing I want to emphasize: no need to own an Avant to attend! Just a great opportunity to get together with enthusiasts from all around North America.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Visit campallroad.com to get registered for this year's event!

It’s that time of year again! Camp allroad 2015 was a great success, so we’ve stuck with it and have put forth the time and effort to make Camp allroad 2016 even better for those that attended last year and for those that sadly missed out. You can ride solo, come with your family or round up some buddies and prep, pack and fuel up your Audi and enjoy the adventure that is the trek to Colorado Springs, CO. Once you are there, you will be able to enjoy a wide variety of events that you will be able to hold on to for years to come.

    WHAT IS CAMP ALLROAD?

Camp allroad is a monumental event celebrating the iconic, ultimate utility vehicle from Audi. This is a get together unlike any other, with Audi Avant enthusiasts coming from all over the country for a weekend of stories, adventure, and friendships. Just like in 2015, Colorado Springs serves as our backdrop for Camp allroad 2016, providing a wealth of breathtaking scenic drives, both on and off-road.

WHAT MAKES CAMP ALLROAD SO SPECIAL?

There are many annual Audi gatherings and events, but Camp allroad is the first Avant focused event with the main focus being the C5 Audi allroad (2001-2005) and the new B8.5 allroad (2012-present). Even though they are the feature Avant variant, we are not limiting this event to only to the allroad. Ideally, we want a place where all Audi owners can come together and bring to light and spread the word through adventure and passion what we all know to be true, that nothing beats owning an Audi Avant.

    WHY CAMP ALLROAD?

In 2014, a couple allroad enthusiasts decided that it would be fun to get a handful of other owners together for a fun weekend. We would pick a central location and all enjoy a scenic road trip in the allroad there, then do some camping and storytelling and eventually part ways with some great memories. We brought the idea up to a couple allroad groups and the interest was more than we ever expected. Audi owners from Canada, Mexico, as far east as Pennsylvania, and as far west as California wanted to join in for a memorable experience and we, as a group, were not going to ignore this interest and passion from these owners, so we stepped up to the plate and began the Camp allroad journey.

I DON’T OWN AN AVANT, CAN I STILL ATTEND?

Although this event is focused only on the Avant, we at Camp allroad know that there are many out there that may own another Audi but still have a soft spot for an Avant or maybe they are in the market for one and just havent found the perfect match yet. Because of this, we say the more the merrier. Just know that you may get tired of hearing how great the Avant is (the truth hurts sometimes) but we guarantee that you will be welcomed with open hatches and that you will have a great time!

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

papertoast were you able to find level sensors locally? If not I do have two, but shipping might kill it. Looking forward to meeting everyone again!

It's going to be another really fun year, personally looking forward to the organized group drives.

Also, do not miss the Pike's Peak drive. It was one one the highlights.

Anybody going from Texas? My drive last year was less than desirable, and was hoping to cruise with someone.

There was a number of people from Texas last year, try posting up in the regionals and I bet you can find some people to cruise with. Audinutt has already volunteered. It's just your job now to convince him it's worth the effort :)

Got my route planned to head south now just to figure out a scenic route back! Also debating if I should throw the mountain bike on the roof and bring it with.
