Need help with service interval message...

So I've reset my service due notifications using VAG-com a few times. In the past I've changed the adaptation values individually without issue. This time I used the SRI button as recommended by ross-tech. The issue I'm having is that every time I start/turn off the car.....i get a message stating "service in KM/days". It never did this for the previous resets and I'm finding it a bit annoying.

I've redone the SRI a few times as well as sniffed around various adaptations to no avail. Does anyone know how to disable this?

It's possible to do it through the actual SRI reset function too... I think that you need to reset it using "#2 mileage based reset (USA)" but the few times I've reset @lambda13's car it's been some trial and error.

Thanks for the suggestions guys....i tried both methods with no success.

I did notice that adaption 02. "Service reminder due" Is set to 2. When I set it to 0 test/save it applies but then goes back to 2. No idea what the value 2 stands for as it says (0 = service not due, and 1 = service due). Maybe that's part of the issue?

Starting to think I might be stuck with this annoying pop up. So strange

Similar problem with me. Did oil and filters on my car and another car today. Used VagCom to reset the reminder using the "Automatic Service Reminder Interval" reset button, but it did nothing.
