Anyone use the Adams blaster sidekick?

Just curious if anyone has used this before. It would be easier and quieter than breaking out my leaf blower

Hell yeah I use it. I just bought it about a week ago off chemical guys. Fucking amazing. Just spray the car down with water before I leave my house if there's lots of dust and pollen. Then I just whip the sidekick out and blow all the water off. The cord is about 6 inches so need extension cable (at least 50 feet). Start at the top since that water is annoying. You'll be fine. Just bought the Adams one yesterday. For the same reason, to save busting out my BR600 each time.

Same one and it's cheaper on Amazon. I have one but it came with a 6ft hose and that is nice. You can hold the blaster at your side and wrap the hose around your neck so you can hold just the nozzle in the other hand. Prevents possible accidentally hitting it against your car.

^ If you have a fresh wax job or ceramic coating and you sheet the water off then yes you can use it for the whole car. There might be some water drops to get afterwards. I always go over the car with a fresh micro fiber when i'm done. It works wonders for the cracks, mirrors and grill and light areas. If you can get a hose for it I would, it's better then holding that thing up in the air the whole time. I've used it for 2 yrs now after every wash and love it.

I usually apply a few zaino coats every few weeks so water def sheds right off. Where would one pick up a hose for it?

^ Not sure about the hose. Do a little digging and you might find one. The link is for 3 footer but I think that's to short. You will have to have both hands in the air for that. My 6 footer is perfect. When I bought mine it came witht the 6ft hose and extra attachments.

And I do the same. My blower will remove damn near every drop, but I typically leave behind about 10% for my DS dry. I'm sure the sidekick will remove at least 50%, and clear the seams, so plenty good enough. Obviously, make sure to sheet rinse last thing. The sidekick will be much easier to manuvuer than a leaf blower.

I could go on and on, but if you have not placed, they the new borderless grey towels. Best I've every used. They also have the 32oz wash, DS, APC and H2O out for a short time too.

I suppose it's a full size. PITA to get out just to blow though. Will never use for that. Came with a 25ft hose. Holy largest PITA ever. I trimmed to 9ft.

I had been using a wet dry vac..craftsman from Sears. It acts as a blower too, but a PITA to pull out every time. I need something to blow the water out of the Audi grills.

What do u use the grey towels for? drying? I have the great white micro already. I watch the vid where they are used to apply the h20 sealant. I want to give that a try to but don't want to lock in all the micro swirls. Is that only used after a paint correction has been done?

I use the borderless grey for many things. DS/drying, removing polish/wax, washing, interior wipe. The idea of needing towels specific to each step is false. I could use the grey for everything. I think I have 4 variants of towels I use. I also really like the new grey utility ones. And just ordered the new single softs.

I just used this for this first time and I am unbelievable satisfied. This worked almost too good. I usually like to leave some water for DS but it took all of it off of the car. the heated air really dries the water quickly. It blew the water from one side of my roof to the other just clearing out the seams on my sunroof. I am extremely happy with his product and glad I pulled the trigger. No more leave blower saves a lot more time and it's very light and easy to handle
