    Burnt Wires please help (Daily)

So I'm driving down the street I smell burning electrical and see smoke. Put car in neutral and coasted to a stop immediately.
I've found the burnt wire but can't find the other side or anything about the wiring in the area I'm looking at. Only thing effected is climate control blower fuse keeps blowing as soon as I turn the key. Unless I unplug the 10 pin grey connector behind lower a pillar cover.

    (10 pin plug)

    ( Connects on far right)

(Top right you can see the wires bare all the way up, except one spot where I can see it was once a blue/white wire)

    All Over!

    That connector is for:

    Radiator cooling fan
    Aircon compressor
    Aircon high pressure switch
Temperature sender in lower radiator hose
    Ambient temperature sensor*
    Hood catch micro switch*

I was going to suggest the compressor clutch coil might have gone high resistance, but the wire looks fine (the green and yellow one).

I would be looking at the cooling fan circuit. So the fan itself, as well as the control resistor panel bolted to the underside of the left hand chassis frame rail. The resistor feed may be shorted to earth via the metal panel / frame.

Unbolt the feed, plug in the grey connector, replace the fuse and see if it still blows. If no, replace the resistor panel. If it still blows, then the cooling fan is the next component to check, in a similar method employed in checking the resistor.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the reply I also noticed as soon as I turn ignition on the ac fan starts running so I went to disconnect it as I can't nor have ever used ac in this car. I found some more partially melted wires.

Note when everything happened I wasn't using any form of climate control. Also the ambient temp sensor has been relocated to under powersteering cover to record underhood temps. When this happened the temp was reading around 110°F.

Thank you good sir you helped me find the short. the wires that travel to the resistor panel caught in the fan and are pretty chewed up. (Completely cut in half frayed)

My final question would be where does my burnt wire lead to after it goes into the loom so i can replace it. Rather then cut the complete loom open i would rather cut the exposed wire at both ends leaving it in the loom and run a fresh wire to each side.

I know the one end is the grey connecter block wheres the other end ??
