    All,

I am in need of some help, yesterday i was driving home past a construction site, and i did not see a rather large rock in the road, well it it took out my oil pan......hard, no JB weld this time i i need a new pan....problem is that everywhere i look is either way too expensive or online shipping it wont get here till next teusday. I am off the rest of the week and have the time to get it done this week, i just need a pan..........does anyone here living around the salt lake area have a pan they would be willing to part with cheap? Unfortunately this is currently my only vehicle as i am in the market for another daily, so time is of the essence for me. Thank you to any help you can give!

of course, pics or it didnt happen lol

Literally tore my pan apart, it was a big rock, doesn't help my car is lowered.

You also need a panzer plate. Basically a metal belly pan. It might save your oil pan next time since you are lowered.

Okay, so i managed to find a pan at a local Junk yard....it was kinda of a pain because apparently it is their policy to drill holes in all of the pans to comply with EPA guidlines......anyways i have successfully patched the hole in the new pan with high temp JB weld, it is ready to go on the car. Next question......Gaskets.....the pan i pulled off came with a metal gasket.....should i reuse this gasket or just go with RTV make a gasket? thanks for any help you can give.....This project is almost finished thank goodness.....definitely going to need a few beers after this one!
