Bilstein B12 Availability

Long-time lurker but first post...in a nutshell, planning to install the B12 Pro Kit on my Avant but every supplier I have been in contact with says it's back-ordered. I have had an order in with AJUSA since early April, was told mid to late May and now Im told will ship mid to late June.

For those who have purchased this kit (Avant specific) - what was your experience? Who did you buy from and how long did you wait for the kit? Just trying to determine if there are any alternative routes I can take or if I just need to suck it up and wait.

I'm in the same boat as you. Just waiting (read chomping at the bit) for my B12 Avant kit too. I ordered mine through AJUSA also.

If you want.....you guys could order the Sedan kit, buy the Eibach pro kit springs for your avant then re-sell the unused sedan springs for close to what you paid for the avant springs. This kit uses Eibach springs in case you didn't know.

I'm in the same boat and based on all of my inquiries there is not stock of the kit in the US. Have you tried sourcing the individual parts?

The $600 price point from AJ sold me so trying to avoid spending too much more. Not cheap, but the more time I spend in this forum the more I want to do - mod bug got to me.

I currently have the b12 on my A4 B8 sedan for about a year now and i ordered it from Ajusa as well.
In my opinion, the drop is perfect and gave a way better ride than stock suspension or the solowerks coils i had before.

Initially they told me that it would take 5-7 weeks before it was shipped but after 1 week, i received the tracking number and it arrived in less than 2 weeks.
Not sure if i got lucky but hopefully the same happens to you.

I think its def worth the wait.

Thanks for the feedback, great pic of your whip! I read the review thread and that's what sold me, otherwise I would have gone with the Koni FSD Kit. Oddly enough I got a tracking # from AJ last night, looks like the kit will be delivered to my office on Wednesday!
