Short vid clips of my AMD SC'd RS4

Put together a short video from clips I had on my phone.

First is purely educational; how to properly enter a highway in a blown RS. The concrete wall on the left makes for some great sounds!

Second clip I tried out my launch control function last night. I think it was like 0-130. Fought for traction a little in first. LC was set about 3k. Turns out the space inbetween the headrest and seat fits an iPhone perfectly!

Lastly some turbocharged 350z 4xx rwhp. Tried the flatshift software here. Girlfriend was filming from her Camry. She was WOT trying to keep up. Maybe the Z should have raced her instead

Thanks, I'm having too much fun! I haven't driven my s4 in over 2 months now. It's just been sitting there jealous while I drive this everyday.

IIRC it's the pioneer AVIC 8100nex. Normally I'm not a fan of aftermarket headunits, however this feels very OEM+, and the Apple CarPlay feature is very nice as well.

Per up above would know better than I since he was the one that had it installed.

Never a dull moment with one of these. It's a worthwhile upgrade if you plan on keeping the rs4.

It's the high pressure kit. AMD made 3inch downpipes, 3inch catback with Xpipe, 2 high flow cats, and 2 mufflers. Quiet enough around town but sounds awesome when you get on the loud pedal.

It's a pretty quick daily driver. I want to make a comparison video between this and my s4, should be an interesting race as both cars are fairly quick.

Yes, Avic 8100-NEX with a nice amp rack and custom fab'ed sub enclosure. Read all about it here ;)

That all sounds good, too...but I still prefer the engine :)

I was feeling the 2:30 pm "crash" at work and came here to find your video. So glad I did. I no longer feel the crash. Thank you for posting it up.

Please post mods list for "behind the times" people like me - clutch/flywheel/flux capacitor, intercooler, injectors, fuel pump ..etc.

Glad I could help. I think we all know how hard it is to over come that struggle.

The car is a 2008 RS4 Avus silver Ti package
AMD supercharger kit
-high pressure configuration (14-15psi)
-twin air to water intercooler cores
-Large heat exchanger mounted out front
-upgrade HPFP's are included in the kit, as well as a different fuel rail. (About 155bar of FP)
AMD made 3inch downpipes with HSJ highflow cats
3inch cat back exhaust, Xpipe cross over, dual rear mufflers (magnaflow)
Ohlins/PSI raceline TTX36 coilovers (3way)
AMD stage 4 clutch (6puck)

The car has some other cool things like the sound system Per posted about above. And my personal fav gadget, the laser jammer. Which I can confirm works as advertised.

Overall the car is a very solid. Between the blower and the suspension everything works together well in unison. It's tame when you want it to be around town, suspension absorbs bumps at low speeds and is very comfy for daily driving, and the exhaust isn't too loud. When you start driving the car hard it responds well, suspension is quick to react and you can comfortably push the limit of the tires. Supercharger makes the engine pull hard to redline without any hiccups. You definitely have to be aware when driving it hard, traction control is very invasive, so that almost always come off, and the car has a tendency of blowing the tires off with its instant power. So far I'm really happy with my purchase, logged around 6k miles since February 1st when it was delivered.

Per, I can always take over with my ownership of the car now. You'll just have to show me how to do a few things as I'm not the most tech savvy person in the world.
