EPL C7 S6/S7 Stage 1 tune
We are proud to offer of our C7/C7.5 S6/S7 stage 1 engine and transmission calibration. Stage 1 is $1350 and the TCU tune is $499 and the flashing cable is $199. Stage 2 will also be available shortly and will require the installation of aftermarket downpipes which we can supply as well.

Flash at home
With our flashing cable, a windows laptop and a wifi connection you are able to flash at home, flash back to stock and install our updates. We also have small tablets for $150 if you don't have a windows laptop or want to leave a dedicated device in the car.

Stage 1

*This graph was also performed before a lot of our recent tune enhancements and updates and as soon as we have a new graph available it will be posted.

With EPL's stage 1 tune we are seeing a 100-110whp gains and 140-155wtq gains on our low reading in house Mustang Dyno. This was on a bone stock S7 with just a flash.

DSG TCU tune
With the success of our B8S4 DSG (DL501)TCU tune we have passed this knowledge to the S6/S7 TCU tune. The EPL TCU tune features include remapped shift points, faster shifts, increased clamping pressure at high torque loads, and more. We take the best OEM features and combine them all into one tune and then make it faster and smoother.

Tune Transfer
Unlike the other tuners, we allow to to sell your tune. You must be the original owner of the tune, the car must be flashed back to stock for the ECU and TCU before selling the tune and there is a $250 transfer fee as well.

I will check on race gas, that should not be a problem. Program switching is all done with our cable and a laptop. So you can switch as much as you want.

Edit: Sorry, read your post again... $599 without the ECU tune. Very tempted, as I'm losing hope that Unitronic will ever release their TCU tune.

Re the DSG TCU tune. Are both the D and S mode shift points changed? Does it downshift, in sports mode, sooner?

Would love to see a video of the car dash when driving around town and open roads.

Can you talk more about the increased clamping pressures? What does this mean?

Race gas is not a problem and we can offer a free race gas tune for any local customer that can stop by the shop.

Right now we are not selling the TCU to non EPL customers. And only the S mode shift points are changed.

The clamping pressure are increased based off of higher torque inputs from the car. This means faster and smoother shifts.

I launched my car today for the 4th time, first time with the EPL software. Holy crap! Previous launches were super fast, now it is just insane. Had some wheelspin for the first time. My launch counter is now on 4 :)
The car feels awesome. So much more powerful than it used to be. Shifts are quicker too.

Yes if you also have the VAGCOM cable the tablets will work and we include the micro USB to female USB adapter. You just need a wifi signal to change tunes.

Okay...so all files including the cars stock file are stored on a server somewhere and are not actually downloaded onto the lap top then? Is that correct?

Correct, the files are on the server and you install them via the flashing cable and the laptop.

It is awesome. I can switch tunes using the Audi Connect Wifi, then connect VCDS to check logs out of curiosity, all on a cool little tablet.

I use a surface pro 2 they are smaller and have more than enough power


I think the surface 3 would be the equivalent now and you can get them with LTE also

I use Surface Pro 4 for car coding but not that I want to be a baller, I have it for my work but being able to use with car is a plus.

The surface products really mess with the serial registration on our flashloader software and we don't recommend them.

I can use surface with flash loader software from Unitronic just fine. It's not hardware problem, it's your software so as someone who works in tech industry, I would recommend you to tell your software developer to fix it.

I think he means get rid of the automatic up shift so you have the option to hold a gear longer like say on a road course.

exactly, apr offers that option, I don't think giac does.

Manual should be completely manual, even for 1st gear. Many a time i've ended up in 3rd (instead of second), because of the 1st gear redline updhift

If your in say 3rd gear and you are nearing redline and I don't press the paddle a true manual mode will let me sit on the rev limiter all day without shifting (Not that you should, just that you could). So most people want Manual mode where it stays in that gear no matter what until you press the paddle.
