Can someone post a pic or a link of how to open the air box and install the air filter? I get mine tomorrow and want to install! Thanks

Pretty simple. Just remove the two clamps and slide the hoses off. Now twist the airbox top to remove it, revealing the filter. Grab the filter and pull it straight up and out of the housing. Put the K&N in, making sure the bottom of the filter slides over the little plastic piece properly (it should kind of snap into place). Now put the airbox top on by twisting it and making sure the securing tab is properly latched. I don't recommend doing this when the engine is hot.

Maybe additional info...(just cleaned and re-oiled my KN filter)
After unscrewing the 2 airhose clamps and airhoses are pulled back....note the clip retainter on the (front of car) airbox cap and slightly pull it back, then rotate the airbox cap counter clockwise (downwards that is).
As for installing, not that you can miss it, but slide the filter buttom hole over the cilinder inside the box. Don't forget its clockwise (upwards) to rotate the cap back on.
Like soccerking mentioned, pretty easy...as long as you know what you doing :)

I've read from several major aftermarket dealers such as LMS - Livernois Motorsports say that "oiled," air filters is the worst thing you can put in your car! They highly recommend a dry-fit filter that can be cleaned and re-used!

People have been using K&N filters for yeas and years. They work well. When the filter is new, there may be a small amount of excess oil, but where do you think this goes? It will microscopically aerosolize and make it way into the combustion chamber and be incinerated. After a short while, there will be no more "excess" oil. I have used the filter brans for years on many of my cars with no issue whatsoever.

I have used a K&N in every car I have owned since the mid 90s and never had 1 issue. Over 120k miles on a mk4 and 250k miles on a B7A4 Avant currently. You shake and knock off any excess oil and it is fine. Every car felt better and had a nice mpg bump.
