    First Time at a Drag Strip- 12.3 @110

    First time ever on a drag strip. Got 4 runs in. Was about 80 and very humid when we first arrived at ATCO, and dropped to about 70 by the last few runs and humidity dropped a lot as well. Fun experience.

    1: 13.1- LC bogged down
    2: 13.0- no LC, just mashed gas
    3: 12.367- LC hooked
    4: 12.369- LC hooked

    These cars are so bad at the strip without LC is hilarious. a .7 second difference is massive, that 60' time is so important.

    Yea i was shocked. The first run LC bogged it was my first ever time on a strip so probably error on my part. Second run i decided to see how well it did just flooring it like i have done many times on the street. Huge difference obviously with LC. Very impressive.

    did you get any wheel spin off the line? looks like a clean run, just curious

    Didn't seem like any at all. The starting line is covered in rubber from everyone else and it was pretty warm out so it just hooked and went. I launched on a back road last week when it was about 60 out at night and got all 4 to spin. Think the combo of rubber and warmth made it perfect for launching. I can't believe how close those last two runs are to each other.

    its not rubber, its a resin (PJ1 trackbite most likely). I didnt get wheel spin until stage 2 on the track, maybe a slight chirp at stage 1.

    those runs are very close, did you let it cool in between or just go back to back?

    Ah good to know. That would make sense, it was a very sticky compound.

    nice timings, u can shave off .2-.3 sec by adding downpipe

    Great time for stage 1. These cars are a dog of the line compared to my old stage 2 b8s4, that car ran pretty much the same times with or without launch control

    i think the numbers are pretty impressive for what we have. last night i was wathcing "Top Gear", the Tanner Foust version, and they had 3 brand new muscle cars that had every aftermkt part installed which brought the cost of these cars to over $100 grand. 950hp challenger, and the camaro and mustang was well over 500 hp. they were only in the low 12's at around 115-116 mph. So for a $45k car and maybe $5-7k in mods, your in the 11's.

    0-60: 4.2 seconds VS APR claiming 3.8 on the S3
    standing 1/4 mile: 12.1 @122

    The numbers current cars are making are insane.
