    intake options for 3.0t

What are the intake options for the 3.0t? Please don't say Roc, I know its great but not willing to risk waiting up to 6 weeks for one and dealing with the headaches. It seems everything I saw is for the B8 and C7. Has anyone been able to make those work? Has anyone just done the silicone hose and aftermarket filter in the stock box?

    Thanks

USP also makes one that's pretty similar to the Roc euro but costs more. It took about 10 weeks for me to receive my roc euro. I know some guys modify the b8 and c7 intakes to fit, but I didn't want to go that route.

I bought a 034 B8 S4 silicone hose and modified it (cut a little off) to fit it to my airbox. Inside the airbox i changed the filter to a AFE filter. The filter was about $75 and i got the intake hose used for $20.

I know this will start a flame war, but why not stick with OEM? It is most like better designed, more efficient and a better filter than aftermarket. It also has a cold air intake right behind the grill.

The sound note that you get with something like the Roc intake is worth it.

I have the USP one and it works great and is built specific for the C6. It is pricey though, but can you really put a price on SC whine?!

I also have the usp one, and I have no complaints. It was a little more than the roc euro but not a huge deal. It sounds great too!
