Tracking the s5? First timer

So I've decided I want to take one of my cars to the track for the first time. I haven't driven on a track yet and was wondering what some opinions would be for the better vehicle to take and learn the ropes in ...

My b8.5 s5 or my f82 m4

Also if anybody knows or could tell me the necessary steps to get started that would be greatly appreciated I'm located in CT/NY

How did it go on the track? Getting a coach at the track is really beneficial to learning the process and the lines. Take your most reliable car.
